Judy Collins

Judy Collins is an American singer-songwriter and musician with a career spanning seven decades.

An Academy Award-nominated documentary director and a Grammy Award-winning recording artist, she is known for her eclectic tastes in the material she records (which has included folk music, country, show tunes, pop music, rock and roll and standards), for her social activism, and for the clarity of her voice.

Her discography consists of 36 studio albums, nine live albums, numerous compilation albums, four holiday albums, and 21 singles.

Ralph McTell

Best known for composing ‘Streets Of London’ and ‘From Clare To Here’. Ralph made his debut in 1968 with the album ‘Eight Frames a Second’ and in 1974 the release of ‘Streets of London’ earned him an Ivor Novello Award.

In 2002 he was presented with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

Robert George

Robert George, a graduate of The University of Miami School of Music, has worked in major studios all over the country as well as his Asheville N.C. based Sound Temple Studios. He has been producing and engineering new and seasoned artists from all around the country for over 30 years, has worked in almost every musical genre, and has also taught audio engineering at UNCA and does private audio tutoring.

His work style is best described in his own words. “It’s my passion to bring forth the true creative expression from an artist or a group!  I try to shape the music into a form that is accessible, while totally honoring the intent of the musician”.

Ian Matthews, Kasabian

Brit award winning and Glastonbury headlining rock band Kasabian won the Q Awards for “Best Act in the World Today”, while they were also named “Best Live Act” at the 2014 Q Awards and the 2007 and 2018 NME Awards.

Elles Bailey, Blues Artist

Smoky voiced multi award winning Blues artist Elles Bailey is a critically acclaimed international singer songwriter who won “Song of the Year” UK Americana Awards, “Artist of the Year”Blues Awards 2020/2021 and is a regular host on Planet Rock radio.

Paul Sexton

Paul Sexton started writing about music as a teenager in 1977. His work has appeared in The Times (London), the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, Billboard, and numerous other publications. He has made many documentaries and shows as a presenter and producer for BBC Radio 2, and is also the author of Prince: A Portrait of the Artist in Memories and Memorabilia. He lives in South London.

Stacey

Stacey Jackson

Stacey Jackson is an award-winning singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, TV presenter & mother of four.

She became an inspiration for stay-at-home moms when she shot to fame, having launched her music career at age 40. Following the chart success of her debut single, Stacey has gone on to release four albums & over a dozen singles, recorded a track “Live It Up” with legendary rapper Snoop Dogg. The record recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and has been rebooted & relaunched in June 2021. She has also worked with Papa Levi & prolific dance music producers & remixers such as C-Rod and Dave Audé. 

Her weekly music show “Stacey Jackson In The 80s” also premiered in June 2021 on Spotlight TV which airs on Sky as well as other satellite providers. As fitness also plays a huge part in Stacey’s life, she launched her patented workout top called Staefit – created to tackle issues women may have while working out and through her online workout videos she encourages women to be the best possible versions of themselves.

Tom Speight

Tom Speight is a british singer-songwriter based in London. Tom’s songs from debut album ‘Collide’ have been regular features of BBC Radio 2. Graham Norton featured Tom as artist of the year in 2018 and Dermot O’Leary, Zoe Ball and Jo Whiley have all been strong supporters of his music. He went to No.1 in Brazil with ‘Little Love’ and Tom’s songs have now been streamed 60m times.

He also headlined Glastonbury’s Acoustic stage in 2019 and has played with big names like Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol and Travis. 

Tom studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts which was established by Sir Paul McCartney. The former Beatles star endorsed Tom’s songwriting saying, ‘I wouldn’t change a thing’.

Talent Is Timeless is proud to partner with the top music universities in the world to assist with the judging process.

We select Masters level songwriting students to intern with us during the competition season to sort through the first rounds of entries before we hand the songs over to the celebrity judges for final deliberations.
