Unlock your songwriting potential with "Piano for Songwriters," a uniquely designed course taught by the esteemed Rachel Walker Mason. Whether you are new to songwriting or looking to deepen your skills, this course offers you the tools and inspiration to use the piano as a powerful ally in your creative journey.
About The Course
“Piano for Songwriters” spans five months, featuring one lesson per month coupled with a group feedback session to review your progress and compositions. Each lesson is crafted to enhance your understanding of how the piano can be used to structure songs, create melodies, and evoke emotions.
Alongside regular assignments and exercises, students gain exclusive access to our “Piano for Songwriters” group on our website—a vibrant community where you can share ideas and collaborate with fellow songwriters.
Due to popular demand, we’re excited to offer two streams of the course:
PFS 1: Perfect for those who regret missing the first offering or are new to the program.
PFS 2: A continuation for those who have completed the first series and wish to delve deeper into advanced techniques and concepts, or for people with intermediate to advanced piano skills.
Why Piano For Songwriters?
Unlike traditional piano lessons, our focus isn’t just on playing the instrument but on using it as a tool to enhance your songwriting. Dive into melody and rhythm composition through the keys, and discover how the piano can add depth and emotion to your music. This course isn’t about becoming a pianist—it’s about becoming a better songwriter using the piano as your muse.
Guiding you through this journey is Rachel Walker Mason, a multi-award-winning musician known for her collaboration with Grammy nominees, Billboard artists, and Emmy winners. Rachel’s vast experience and infectious passion make her a favorite among our community. Under her guidance, you’ll explore how the piano can transform your songwriting, bringing your music to new heights.
Whether you are starting fresh or building on your existing skills, this course will support your growth as a songwriter and musician.
